Information & Application

Dates:  Saturday and Sunday Feb 6th & 7th

Location:  The Denver Waldorf School

 Times:   Morning sessions will start at 8:45am sharp, this is 15 minutes earlier than prior years to give us more time before the midday recitals). Regardless of what time your first class starts, please arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow for parking, finding your class, tuning and set up.  We will be finished with classes by 4:30pm both Saturday and Sunday.  On Sunday after classes, all students will participate in the final celebration recital.  We should be finished by 6:00pm.

 Classes:  Students from pre-Twinkle through book 2 will receive a masterclass (a shared private lesson), a group class and a musicianship class.  Students in book 3 and up will receive a masterclass, group class, jazz improv class and an ensemble class.  There will also be 3 recitals:  At lunch on Saturday, the Honors Students will perform for us.  During lunch on Sunday, the members of the faculty will perform.  On Sunday evening, at 5:00pm, all students will participate in the final celebration recital.

 Lunch:  While lunch breaks will be 105 minutes (11:45 to 1:30pm), we have recitals scheduled at 12:30 to 1:30pm on both days. Because of Door Dash and the ways of the modern world we are leaving lunch up to the parents on Saturday. This will take away a lot of admin cost and time and probably will be better for everyone.  On Sunday we will provide pizza for everyone. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own brown bags, or go out for lunch.  However, please keep in mind that lunchtime recitals will start promptly at 12:30pm, leaving only 45 minutes to get out, get fed, and get back.

 Cost:  $270 per student.  Registration deadline is November 30th, 2026.

Information Packets, including a map of the facility, class schedule, information on parking, etc., will be given to you by your teacher at your child’s lesson or group class before the week of January 19, 2027.

If you don’t have Zelle you can use Venmo @Mike-Hyland-1 and write Denver Suzuki Guitar Summit 2027.‍ ‍Any fees that are incurred will need to be covered by the registering family.

Registration forms and checks (or digital payment) must be in your teacher’s hands by November 30th, 2026, or late payment registration by January 1st, 2026.

A portion of the tuition will be refunded to you if we have to cancel the Summit due to weather, all other fees are non-refundable.
